Nouryon Brand DirectorPerkadox 16 GB-70- new organic peroxide powder from Nouryon
Nouryon has unveiled a new powder form of its Perkadox 16 (BCHPC) organic peroxide. This new formulation, named Perkadox 16 GB-70, is designed to help customers in the North American composites market safely store greater quantities of the product while adhering to the latest fire safety regulations.
Perkadox 16 GB-70 is particularly suited for use in manufacturing processes such as cured-in-place pipe — a method where new piping is created within an existing damaged pipeline — and pultrusion, which is employed in the production of durable goods like window frames, ladders, and other closed-mold items.
Additionally, Nouryon has recently broadened its range of peroxides in North America. This expansion includes the introduction of the Butanox-branded product line, featuring methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP), a revamped version of Butanox M-50 Vanishing Red peroxide, and emulsion-based organic peroxides tailored for the PVC market.
