It is known for its safety, purity, and diverse applications in polymer cross-linking and degradation, with specific storage and packaging requirements.
In recent years, with the continuous increase in demand for high polymers and polypropylene materials, China's DTBP (Di-tert-butyl peroxide) market has shown significant growth. In 2023, China's DTBP production capacity was approximately 15,000 tons, with the capacities of major factories being similar. However, as one of the organic peroxides with relatively simple preparation processes, DTBP's production capacity is highly flexible. Factories can adjust production capacity at any time to meet market changes.
Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) is used in pharmaceutical, food, and industrial applications. It must be stored with diluents or stabilizers for safety and is sensitive to proper handling and packaging. Ensuring purchase from certified manufacturers is crucial to avoid the risks associated with substandard products.
For TBPB (CAS-No 614-45-9), we recommend packaging no heavier than 25 kg using light-blocking high-density polyethylene. Containers may optionally include breathable Gore-Tex lids. Ensure packaging passes drop tests and stacks no more than three layers on pallets, adhering to Level II standards or higher. Key temperature guidelines include a flash point of 96°C, suggesting low vapor flash ignition risk, and an SADT of 63°C, making refrigeration generally unnecessary during summer sea transport. Storage should ideally be at 10-30°C to minimize quality degradation and maximize safety.
